So, it’s been awhile since you were last in a dentist’s chair.
And the longer you stay away, the harder it seems to make an appointment. You know you should. You know your oral health is important, but you’ve been busy.
At Dental Implants and Periodontology Of Arizona, we want to help you make the transition back into routine dental care.
We know that more than 90 percent of Americans will have at least one cavity in their lifetime. We know that 80 percent of Americans will have some form of gum disease during their lives.
And we know that we can help with those oral health issues and many more.
If you live in or near Phoenix, AZ and are looking for a dentist, let us show you what we have to offer.
Modern Comfort
We have tried to make our office a welcoming place for all our patients. This starts with our floor to ceiling windows that invite the light from our desert sun.
In addition to our friendly staff, we strive to make your comfort a priority. As a small staff, we can offer personal attention and attentive care for you.
But we know that creature comforts can help, too.
This is why we have Tempur-Pedic patient chairs in our office. We also can provide pillows and blankets to help you feel cozier.
And for patients who may be a little anxious about returning to the dentist after some time away, ask about our sedation dentistry. This may be just what you need to ease back into the dentist’s chair.
What You Should Expect
During your first visit, we will take X-rays and photographs to assess the health of your mouth and the supporting bone structure.
If you haven’t had a professional dental cleaning in a few years, we will perform a deep cleaning to remove as much plaque and bacteria as we can from inside your mouth.
Part of this deep cleaning will involve going under your gumline to remove any plaque and tartar that may have built up in those harder to clean places.
We often use a perioscope during this process. Perioscopy is in our name, so you know it’s an important part of what we do.
As part of this process, we will use a miniature camera to examine your mouth as closely as possible. The human eye can only see so much. Our camera magnifies our view, so we can more effectively and efficiently clean your teeth and gums.
Other Services We Offer
In addition to routine cleanings and attentive care, we are prepared to provide a variety of services for our patients.
Dental implants are a focus of our practice, and we have seen how they have improved the lives of many patients. Whether you need to replace a single tooth, a few teeth, or all your teeth, dental implants can help you regain your ability to eat and your willingness to smile.
If needed, we are able to perform oral surgery as well. Whether you need a bone graft to prepare your mouth to receive a dental implant or the extraction of a troublesome tooth, we have the ability to complete that procedure in our office.
And we offer bad breath treatment as well. Chronic bad breath is not something that most people like to think about, but it is a reality for some individuals.
We are not here to judge. We are here to help you understand the cause of this condition and to show you how to prevent it from recurring in the future.

We see ourselves as part of your team. We are working with you to support you in your ongoing quest to maintain your oral health.
